Man Found Dead In Pool At Hudson Valley Home
Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a Hudson Valley home pool. The incident occurred in Orange County around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, on Aster Way in Wallkill. According to Wallkill Police Lt. Robert McLymore, officers discovered the victim, a 79-year-old Sullivan County man from Rock Hill, unconscious and unresponsive while in the pool. Officers and EMS immediately began life-saving measures, including CPR, McLymore said. A 47-year-old Hudson Valley man died from severe burns after battling a barn fire. The incident occurred in Orange County around 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, in Pine Island on Amity Road. The collision happened in Putnam County on Sunday, July 21 just after 5:30 p.m., when two cars crashed at the intersection of Route 6 and Croton Falls Road (Route 34) in Mahopac.
