Lake Katrine Woman Admits Her Part In Death Of Boyfriend's 14-Year-Old Daughter A woman  from the region has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection to the 2022 death of her partner's 14-year-old daughter. Ulster County resident Kristin Delsanto, age 29, of Lake Katrine, admitted to the crime on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in the death of Collin Schlegel’s biological daughter, said Ulster County District Attorney Emmanuel Nneji. Warning Issued For Fentanyl-Laced Adderall After College Student Dies From Overdose Colleges are issuing warnings about fentanyl-laced Adderall after one student died and another is in critical condition after using the fake drug. Ohio State University in Columbus issued an urgent warning on Thursday, May 5, after three students overdosed, with one later dying and one remaining in critical condition. Columbus Public Health said the fake Adderall pills appear to contain fentanyl, causing an increase in overdoses and hospitalizations. Watergate Mastermind G. Gordon Liddy Laid To Rest In Hudson Valley G. Gordon Liddy, the mastermind of the Watergate burglary, was laid to rest in the Hudson Valley where his public life began. Liddy, who died on Tuesday, March 30, at the age of 90, is known for his role in the Watergate break-in that led to the downfall of President Richard Nixon. He started his career as an attorney in Poughkeepsie and later became an assistant district attorney in Dutchess County in the 1960s where he fought hard against drug abuse. Liddy, who also had worked as an FBI agent and was an Army veteran, lost a primary run for Congress in 1968 against Hamilton Fish…

Man Tased After Resisting Arrest, Attempting To Escape From Officers, Police Say A 30-year-old Nanuet man was arrested by Ramapo police, but not before being tased to get him under control. The incident took place around 5:45 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, when officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on S. Pascack Road, in the Village of Chestnut Ridge, the department said. Once on the scene, officers located the unnamed man who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, police said. The man gave officers a fictitious name and date of birth.  A search of the man turned up hypodermic needles and a substance believed to be fentanyl, police said.  O…
