Unlicensed Hit-Run Driver Charged In Crash That Killed Kingston Woman, 37: Cops A 34-year-old unlicensed driver has been arrested in connection with a crash that left a 37-year-old woman dead along an Ulster County roadway last week, authorities said. Alex B. Brown, 34, of New Paltz, was behind the wheel of a 2008 Subaru Forester when he ran over Victoria Cooper in Rosendale on Jan. 16 around 8:20 p.m., New York State Police said. Cooper entered the roadway when she was struck by a 2013 Toyota on State Route 32, and came to rest in the southbound lane where she was run over by Brown, police said.
