Hudson Valley Man Indicted For Shooting Woman Sitting On Front Porch
A man from the region has been indicted for the attempted murder of a woman who was sitting on her porch when six shots were fired.
Ulster County resident Corey Marshall, age 34, of Kingston, was indicted by an Ulster County Grand Jury on Tuesday, Oct. 3 for the felonies of attempted murder, assault, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
According to the Ulster County District Attorney, the indictment stems from a shooting that took place in the Town of Esopus on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022.

Ten months after a young postal worker was shot to death in the region, his killer has confessed.
Laquan Fallen, age 24, of Albany, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in Albany County Court on Tuesday, Aug. 8, for fatally shooting 24-year-old Czsar Lewis.
According to prosecutors, the two were in Albany near Central Avenue and Robin Street on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, when Fallen shot Lewis with a handgun. He was legally prohibited from having the weapon at the time.

Man Rams Car, Threatens Driver In Westchester, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after allegedly ramming the rear of a vehicle and threatening the driver with an edged weapon following a road rage incident.
The incident took place in Westchester County around 2:25 p.m., Friday, July 21 on I-87 in the city of Yonkers.
According to Trooper Tara McCormick, an investigation determined that Ruben D. Luciano, age 48, of the village of Florida, in Orange County, rear-ended a vehicle following a road rage incident, in which he reportedly exited his vehicle and threatened the other driver with an edged weapon.
