Covid-19: NY Businesses Need To Design 'New Normal' To Re-Open, Cuomo Says Businesses need to now design a "new normal" that emphasizes social distance, personal protective equipment and other factors to re-open amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said.  A phased plan to re-open the state and "re-imagine a new normal for the state" was outlined by Cuomo at his daily news briefing on Sunday, April 26. Multiple Fire Departments Battling Three-Alarm Fire At Yeshiva Under Construction Multiple fire departments are battling a three-alarm blaze at a building under construction in Sullivan County that has closed a roadway. The fire, which started in Fallsburg around 7:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 23, is located at 84 Laurel Park Road, which is currently closed to traffic, said the Fallsburg Police Department.
