Hudson Valley Man Busted Selling Crack At Public Housing Facilities After Complaints A man from the region was busted for allegedly selling crack cocaine in a public housing authority area. Dutchess County resident Victor Smith, age 66, of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 26 at his Poughkeepsie home. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force, the force began an investigation after receiving complaints from residents regarding drug dealers operating in or near Poughkeepsie Housing Authority facilities throughout the city of Poughkeepsie.  Harris said task force agents began purchasing coca…
