'Troubled' Repeat Arrestee Attacks, Robs Disabled Woman On Capital Region Street, Police Say
A woman with a history of unprovoked violence has been arrested for a ninth time in six months for allegedly attacking an elderly disabled woman in the region. The Columbia County incident happened at around 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in the city of Hudson near Warren and 2nd streets, according to Hudson Police. A business owner in the area called 911 saying a woman was outside chasing and attacking people on the street with either a stick or a broom. NY Tenant Stabs Landlord During Argument Over TV Remote, Police Say
A New York man is behind bars, accused of stabbing his landlord during an argument over a TV remote, authorities said. Police in Columbia County were called at around 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, with reports of a stabbing in the city of Hudson, at a home near Columbia and North Second streets. An investigation revealed that 52-year-old Randy Shook stabbed his 66-year-old landlord during an argument over possession of a TV remote, Hudson Police said. Ex-Employee Accused Of Robbing Ex-Boss At Gunpoint At Restaurant In Capital District
An ex-employee at a restaurant in the region is behind bars, accused of robbing his former boss at gunpoint. Police in Columbia County were called at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, with reports of an armed robbery at a restaurant in Hudson, located on Warren Street. The manager told 911 dispatchers that a former employee, Benny Dean Jr., age 44, had entered the kitchen area from an alley and told her that he had a gun.
