It happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 in Central Nyack, outside CY's Restaurant and Lounge, located at 37 Route 59. Arrival officers discovered a woman with gunshot wounds to her leg and abdomen, lying on the ground in front of the establishment, Clarkstown Police said. Erratic Driving: Man Charged After Woman Killed In Crash On Busy Hudson Valley Roadway A woman died after her car was hit by a vehicle operated by a man allegedly driving erratically in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Rockland County in Central Nyack around 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 30 on Route 59 in the area of Broome Boulevard. According to Det. Man Wanted In Connection With Shooting In Hudson Valley, Police Say Police are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted for attempted murder during a shooting incident in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 6:30 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 26, when members of the Clarkstown Police responded to a report of shots fired in Central Nyack, said Detective Norman Peters of the Clarkstown Police. The woman jumped from the bridge around 9 a.m, Monday, Dec. 7, near Tarrytown, said the New York State Police. Area Man Held For Violating Protective Order A Central Nyack man is being held without bail after allegedly violating a protective order. Anthony Gulifield, 53, was arrested around 9:15 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 28, in Stony Point, and charged with criminal contempt with a previous conviction, said Stony Point Police Lt. Daniel Hylas. Gulifield was arrested after police responded to a home on Thiells Road on a report of domestic violence, Hylas said.
