Deadly Weekend: 2 Men Killed In Separate Crashes On Capital Region Roadways Two men are dead following separate crashes involving pedestrians in the region. The first incident happened in Albany County just before midnight Saturday, Nov. 11, in Colonie on Central Avenue. A man walked into the roadway near Fuller Road and was struck by a Ford F-150 truck that was driving westbound, according to Colonie Police. The victim, identified as 49-year-old David Herskind, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 48-year-old Albany man who was driving the truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
