The co-founders of Ben & Jerry's, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, just announced that they have teamed up with the progressive advocacy group MoveOn.Org to create a new flavor of ice cream called "Kamala's Coconut Jubilee," in honor of Vice President Harris' presidential campaign. Robbery Spree: Man Targets Businesses In Capital Region For Quick Cash, Police Say
A man is behind bars in connection with a string of robberies targeting businesses in the region. Police in Saratoga County were initially called Sunday evening, Sept. 3, for a robbery in Saratoga Springs at the Ben & Jerry’s on Phila Street, according to police. Investigators said 40-year-old Daniel McKay, of Amsterdam in Montgomery County, walked in and told an employee he was robbing the store. He implied that he had a gun but did not show any weapon. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and McKay fled the scene, police said. No customers or employees were injured.…

Man On Way To Work Killed In Taconic Crash Remembered For 'Warmth Everyone Could Feel'
The Westchester native killed in a Taconic State Parkway crash in Dutchess County was remembered by friends and family for his “warmth that everyone could feel” prior to his death. Daniel Patrick O’Brien suffered severe trauma in the crash on Tuesday, Sept. 8 in East Fishkill which his vehicle was rear-ended.
