A woman died after her car was hit by a vehicle operated by a man allegedly driving erratically in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Rockland County in Central Nyack around 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 30 on Route 59 in the area of Broome Boulevard. According to Det. A Northern Westchester man has been killed in a three-car crash. The crash took place around 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 3 in Manhattan on the northbound FDR Drive at 53 St., said the NYPD. Officers responding to the crash found a 56-year-old male driver of a 2021 Honda CRV seriously wounded. He was transported and removed by EMS to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, the NYPD said. New York State Police in the Hudson Valley are cautioning area homeowners to be on high alert after a trio of vehicles were stolen from area driveways over the weekend. A fast-acting police officer came to the rescue of a father who accidentally locked a pair of children inside an SUV in Northern Westchester.
