ID Released For Man Killed In Hit-Run Long Island DWI Crash The identity has been released of a man killed in a hit-and-run Long Island crash involving an allegedly drunk driver. The crash happened around 4 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, in Westbury. A 2006 gray Chrysler Sebring was traveling eastbound on Old Country Road when it struck a bicyclist near the intersection of State Street.  The bicyclist sustained extensive injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Police paramedic. Drunk 21-Year-Old Crashes Into Vacant Business On Long Island, Police Say A 21-year-old man was hospitalized following a suspected drunk-driving crash into a vacant business on Long Island. The early-morning incident happened in Westbury, on Old Country Road near Carman Avenue, at around 2:40 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15. Nassau County Police said Aidan Schwartz, of Wantagh, was driving a Honda sedan when he crashed into a vacant building at 1137 Old Country Road.
