Suspect Nabbed, ID Released For Woman Fatally Stabbed Near Long Island Restaurant A suspect has been apprehended and the identity has been released of a woman who was fatally stabbed behind a Long Island restaurant. Nassau County Police Fifth Precinct officers responded for a 911 call for a stabbing in the rear of La Candela Restaurant in West Hempstead located at 205 Hempstead Turnpike at around 12:05 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.
