Couples in New York expect the most expensive gifts in the U.S. at an average of $204.60 per guest, according to the study by fine jewelry brand Shane Co. The survey, based on responses from more than 3,000 Americans, also highlights regional trends in gift expectations, budgets, and wedding traditions. Search On For 4 Armed Home Invasion Suspects In Region Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for four suspects who forcefully invaded a Hudson Valley home with a gun, stealing jewelry and cash. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, the home invasion occurred at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, on Ross Lane in Wallkill. An investigation found that four suspects forcefully entered the victim’s residence. McLymore said one suspect pulled out a handgun, placing it in the back of the male victim while entering the home.
