34-Year-Old Woman Dies After Jumping From Apartment Building Near Hudson River
A 34-year-old woman died at a hospital after jumping from an apartment building's roof near the Hudson River in the region. The incident happened in Westchester County on Wednesday, Nov. 13, when the Brooklyn resident jumped from the roof of the Franklin Towers apartment complex at 50 White St. in Tarrytown, according to Tarrytown Police. The woman was soon rushed to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, where she died, police said. Her name has not been made public by police. IDs Released For 2 Hartsdale Women Killed In Fiery Crash
Two victims killed when a Tesla crashed into a residential building in Westchester have been identified as relatives of a town councilman in the county. Both 70-year-old Millie Sheehan and 36-year-old Diana Sheehan of Hartsdale died in a crash on Monday, Sept. 16 in White Plains around 9 a.m. on Battle Avenue, according to Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner. Building To Be Demolished Following Devastating Fire In Region
A Hudson Valley apartment building that was destroyed by a quick-moving fire will be demolished this week. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3, at The Highlands (the former Avalon Gardens) in Nanuet. According to Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann, the fire destroyed eight units, leaving all homeless.
