The wreck happened in Woodmere, at the intersection of West Broadway and Howard Avenue, at around 9 a.m. Friday, June 6, according to the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department. A 78-year-old woman was driving a Mercedes eastbound on West Broadway when she collided with a Honda SUV also traveling eastbound, Nassau County Police said.
