Patient Assaults Staff At Nassau University Medical Center: Police
A patient is accused of attacking staff and making terroristic threats at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, Nassau County police announced on Friday, Sept. 12.
The incident happened on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 4:30 p.m., according to detectives.
Sullethea T. Smith, 48, of Church Street in Westbury, became violent inside the hospital at 2201 Hempstead Turnpike, police said. She allegedly assaulted staff members and made terroristic threats.
A 24-year-old man suffered a laceration to his left arm and an injury to his left shoulder that caused substantial pain, authorities said. …
Man Accused Of Making Terroristic Threats To Nassau County Workers: Police
A Glenwood Landing man is accused of making terroristic threats to county workers at the Nassau County Executive Building in Garden City, police announced on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
Robert Bogdanovic, 59, of Hillside Avenue, allegedly called the county office at 1 West Street around 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, threatening employees and putting them in fear for their safety, according to the Third Squad.
Bogdanovic was tracked down at his residence and taken into custody without incident following a thorough investigation, detectives said.
