Two more New Jersey men have surrendered to police in connection with the late-night break-in and vandalism spree at New York's Playland amusement park that caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage and left hundreds of stuffed animals missing, authorities said.
Connor Evancho, age 20, of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, turned himself in on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Westchester County Police headquarters in Hawthorne, while Daniel Bracco, age 19, of Oakland, New Jersey, surrendered on Monday, Nov. 10, the Westchester County Police Department announced.

A New Jersey man accused of breaking into the Playland amusement park in New York, stealing hundreds of stuffed animals, and causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage has been arrested, officials said.
Bergen County resident Anthony Conkling, age 19, of Wyckoff, New Jersey, surrendered this week to Westchester County Police detectives investigating the overnight burglary and vandalism spree that hit Playland Park between Sept. 23 and 24, county officials announced on Friday, Nov. 7.

More than 33,000 wireless power banks are being recalled after the lithium-ion batteries caught fire and exploded, causing $20,000 in property damage.
The recall affects about 24,000 ESR HaloLock power banks sold in the US, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, Aug. 14. About 9,900 portable chargers were sold in Canada.

A man stormed into a church service and shattered two religious statues, Nassau County Police announced on Monday, June 16.
Aldo Hernandez, 26, of Colonial Avenue in Mineola, allegedly burst into Corpus Christi Church at 155 Garfield Avenue around 5:02 p.m. on Sunday, June 15. According to detectives, Hernandez became irate during the service and caused a scene before heading toward the altar.
