Nysp Staff May Have Used Work Creds To Improperly Get Into Ryder Cup: Superintendent New York State Police are under outside investigation after top members of the agency’s executive staff were revealed to have possibly improperly used work-related credentials to get into the Ryder Cup on Long Island earlier this year.  In a statement on Wednesday, Nov. 26, New York State Police Superintendent Steven G. James said the allegations center on staff who “may have used work credentials supplied by the PGA, or possibly other free passes, to improperly gain admission to the Ryder Cup tournament on Long Island for themselves and in some cases, family members.”  …

The Hempstead School Board voted 4-1 to remove Superintendent Regina Armstrong at a special meeting held Thursday evening, Sept. 5.
