Officers were called to a Franklin Street home at 4:31 a.m. for a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple cuts across his body, according to detectives. The victim had been involved in a car crash earlier that morning when a suspect followed him and confronted him, police explained. A fight broke out, and the victim was stabbed with a sharp object, police said. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.…

Sebastien Castin, 23, of Lakeview, hit a 49-year-old man riding a bicycle northbound on Woodfield Road near Coventry Road North around 3:17 a.m., according to Fifth Precinct officers. The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition. 48-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Nassau County Crash A motorcyclist was critically injured after police say a car cut across his path on Long Island. The incident unfolded on Saturday, Nov. 9, at about 4:45 p.m. in Lakeview, on Glen Road.  The 48-year-old man was riding a 2023 Yamaha motorcycle northbound when a 42-year-old driver of a 2019 Acura SUV made a turn in front of him, resulting in the collision, according to Nassau County Police. Nassau County 14-Year-Old Has Been Missing For 10 Days Police are asking for help in locating a Long Island teenager who has been missing for over a week. Edwin Palacios Umana, age 14, was last seen at his Lakeview residence on Wadleigh Avenue at around 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5. Umana is 5-foot-3 and 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police said he may have traveled to Flushing, Queens. Anyone with information is asked to contact Nassau County Police at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
