Two Louisiana men were arrested after officers found a loaded handgun during a traffic stop in Westbury, Nassau County police announced on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Officers with the Strategic Response Team pulled over a black 2009 Ford Edge after the driver failed to signal a lane change on Zeckendorf Boulevard near Corporate Drive in Westbury, Friday, Oct. 3, at 8:05 p.m., according to detectives.

A Long Island man is accused of pulling a gun on another driver during a road rage blowup, Suffolk County Police said on Thursday, May 1.
Christopher Tartaglia, 57, was behind the wheel of a BMW X5 on Cortez Drive when he began tailgating a vehicle near Indian Head Road around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, according to police.
The other driver pulled over to let him pass—but instead, Tartaglia stopped, pointed a handgun at him, and threatened him before driving off, investigators said.

A Queens man was busted with drugs and a loaded gun during an investigation into a fatal Nassau County overdose, authorities announced.
Keith Turner, 59, of 222nd Street, was arrested in Elmont at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, following a probe into the deadly incident, according to Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives.
