Two Killed In House Fire On Long Island Identified As Mother, Son: Police
The two victims killed in a Smithtown house fire have been identified as a mother and son, Suffolk County police announced on Monday, Dec. 1.
Christine Lehmann, 52, and her son, Nicholas Lehmann, 25, died inside their home at 178 Fifty Acre Road South after a fire broke out on Sunday, Nov. 30 at around 3:15 p.m., according to the updated release.
A third resident, 91-year-old Ronald Montagna, was rescued and taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with smoke inhalation and burns, police said.
