Delon Hughes, 34, of Brooklyn, met the teen at the Brentwood Public Library on June 11, 2025, after using the handle “Josephpatri9300” on Snapchat to connect with her, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Angel Casiano, 23, of Fountain Avenue, unlawfully entered the victim’s residence and destroyed various items inside on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 4:20 p.m., according to Nassau County police. When officers arrived, Casiano allegedly ran from the scene but was caught nearby. Nassau County Police said detectives were informed of two separate disturbances in Cedarhurst at around 1:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.  The first happened near Lincoln Street and Oakland Avenue, and the second occurred near Barrett Road and Washington Avenue. Teen Duo Charged After Knife Found At Long Island High School Two teens have been charged following a dispute that allegedly prompted  one of them to bring a knife to school on Long Island. A 15-year-old boy displayed the knife at his bus stop and was met by staff members as he exited the bus at Sachem High School North in Lake Ronkonkoma, according to Suffolk County Police.
