Suffolk County Father Convicted Of Sexually Abusing Daughter: DA A 56-year-old man from Islip was convicted of sexually abusing his daughter over the course of two years, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced on Thursday, Dec. 12. The District Attorney’s Office is not naming the defendant in order to avoid identifying the victim of a sex crime.
