Bicyclist Struck, Killed Crossing Busy Street In Miller Place
A bicyclist was struck and killed crossing a busy Long Island street during the evening commute.
The collision occurred in Miller Place, on Route 25A east of Hunter Avenue, shortly before 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3.
Marc Wilke, 51, was riding his bike southbound across Route 25A when he was struck by an eastbound Nissan sedan, Suffolk County Police said.
Wilke, of Patchogue, was taken by ambulance to Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Natalie DiDonato, a cast member from Season 5 of "Mob Wives", has been found safe in Nevada, ending a brief missing-persons search, NBC News reported.
DiDonato, 44, contacted her mother, Denise Fuoco, on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, and assured her she was safe and not being held against her will. "My daughter's been found," Fuoco told NBC News. "She's fine right now. We're trying to get her home."

The victim received a text message claiming her Apple ID had been compromised, prompting her to call a phone number provided in the message, police said. She was connected to a man claiming to be a Chase Bank representative working with the FBI. Between Oct. 10 and Dec. 6, the man persuaded her to give him $203,000 in cash and gold bars "for safekeeping," according to investigators.
