The man was attempting to cross Main Street near Shore Lane at 2:10 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld until his family is notified.
Detectives believe the suspect vehicle is a small to mid-size dark-colored SUV.
