A stretch of westbound I-84 was closed for approximately five hours Wednesday after a fatal, multi-vehicle crash in Montgomery.
Two tractor-trailers and four cars were reportedly involved in the crash, which occurred around 1:15 p.m.
The name of the person killed in the crash has not yet been released. Multiple injuries were reported.
The westbound lanes had reopened at around 7:30 p.m. One lane had reopened at around 6 p.m.
Two helicopters were seen in the area immediately after the crash, which was between Exit 5A (Drury Lane/Route 54) and Route 208 (Exit 5) in Orange County.
