: Catalytic Converter Thieves Busted By Police In Westchester
A pair of would-be catalytic converter thieves were caught in the act in Westchester, authorities said. The suspects, identified as Felix De La Rosa and Jason Dominguez, both of New York City, were busted by police Saturday night, Aug. 20, as they targeted vehicles in Yonkers, police said. Three massage parlors were busted for offering prostitution services to undercover officers during an investigation in Westchester, police said. The parlors were busted in Larchmont and Mamaroneck on Wednesday, August 10. Police are investigating a serious multi-vehicle crash on a Westchester roadway that left a person seriously injured. It happened around 4:15 a.m. Thursday, June 30 on the Sprain Brook Parkway.in Greenburgh near mile marker 4.2 just north of Jackson Avenue. Water Main Break Leads To Early Dismissal At High School, Middle School In Westchester
A water main break has resulted in early dismissals at a high school and middle school in Westchester. The break "involves a significant 12-inch pipe that has no timeline for completion," Mount Pleasant Central School Superintendent Peter Giarrizzo said in an email to the community late Thursday morning, May 12. Alert Neighbor Prevents BMW From Being Stolen From Driveway In Westchester
A quick-thinking neighbor in Westchester interrupted a would-be car thief attempting to steal a BMW out of a driveway in broad daylight. A suspect is at large after attempting to lure high school girls into his car in Westchester, police said. In Ardsley, police issued an alert to the community advising that an unknown man made multiple attempts at luring high school-aged females to his car while asking for directions.
