Police in Columbia County were called at around 3:45 p.m. Thursday, May 4, with reports that a woman’s SUV had been stolen in Hudson, near Warren and 5th streets, according to Hudson Police. Fortunately for the victim, she has an app on her phone that allowed investigators to track the vehicle right to the suspect’s doorstep. Police in Columbia County were initially called at around 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, with reports of a robbery at a convenience store in the city of Hudson, located near Second and Warren streets. The 57-year-old victim told Hudson Police that a man had stolen $160 cash right out of his hand before fleeing the store.
