Wrong-Way Driver Caught After Striking Cop Cruiser On I-84 In Hudson Valley: Police A 41-year-old woman was slapped with drunk driving charges after driving the wrong way on I-84 throughout two counties in the Hudson Valley, striking a police cruiser in the process, authorities said. The woman's arrest stemmed from an incident in Putnam County on Saturday, Nov. 11 around 1:45 a.m., when a vehicle was reported to be traveling east in the westbound lanes of Interstate 84 in Kent.  According to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, a sheriff's deputy found the vehicle and attempted to stop it.
