When a 67-year-old man was found dead along a busy street in the region, investigators didn’t have much to go on to find the driver responsible. More than a year later, their efforts have led to a conviction. Car Crashes Into Lake In Area
A Hudson Valley fire department removed a vehicle from a frozen lake after a crash. The incident took place in Putnam County around 11:45 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 15, when the Mahopac Falls Dive Team was requested to South Lake Boulevard for reports of a vehicle submerged in the lake, the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department said. Upon arrival, Captain Jason Stasiak, found a vehicle submerged approximately 25 feet from shore in 10 feet of ice-cold water. Details Emerge After Man, Woman Killed When SUV Crashes Into Long Island Sound In Westchester
New details have been released after two people were killed when an SUV drove from the parking lot, through a metal railing and into the Long Island Sound in Westchester. Just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, New Rochelle Police received a call that a vehicle had crashed through the railing and entered the water at Hudson Park at Echo Bay in New Rochelle.
