The Saratoga County murder happened in the town of Charlton, at the Xtra Mart on State Route 67, at around 3 a.m. on July 8, 1993. String Of Overnight Car Fires In Capital Region Under Investigation Police are working to determine whether a series of overnight car fires in the region are connected. Four separate fires were reported inside vehicles early Wednesday morning, June 21, in Rensselaer County, in the village of Lansingburgh, according to Troy Police.
