Carmel Driver Indicted For DWI Crash Injuring Brewster Family
An area man who allegedly drove drunk and hospitalized three people when he struck them head-on has been indicted on charges that include multiple counts of vehicular assault. Carmel resident Thomas Kiernan, 66, was arraigned in Putnam County Court on Tuesday, March 6 after crashing on Drewville Road on Dec. 23 last year with a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.
