Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Hudson River Near New TZB A small, single-engine plane that reportedly ran out of fuel was forced to make an emergency landing in the Hudson River near the new Tappan Zee Bridge. No injuries were reported in the incident which occurred just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14. Divers assisted after the controlled landing close to Piermont Pier. The plane was then towed to the Tarrytown Marina. (See photo above.) It was not immediately reported if more than one person was aboard the plane. This is a developing story.
