Deputies Catch Suspect In Act In Burglary At Dutchess County Gas Station A suspected burglar was caught in the act by police at a gas station in Dutchess County.   The incident happened around 2:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Shell station on Route 9G in Rhinebeck, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.  Deputies had been dispatched after a security alarm went off. When they arrived, they discovered a burglary in progress. The suspect was immediately taken into custody without further incident. The incident began on Saturday, Feb. 22, when Putnam County 911 received a report of a vehicle stolen out of LaGrange. Person Stabbed In Hudson Valley, Suspect On Run Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help after a person was found stabbed. The incident occurred in Orange County around 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, in the area of 124 Grand St., in the city of Newburgh.  According to Mike Neppl, Chief of Staff for the city, officers responded and located a victim, a 44-year-old City of Newburgh resident.
