Woman Stole More Than $7K at Resorts World Catskills, Police Say A woman was arrested for stealing more than $7,000 from a guest at the Resorts World Catskills Casino, according to New York State Police. Andrea Mercer, 33, of the Bronx, was charged with grand larceny Wednesday following an investigation into the theft of the money, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Mercer, a guest at the casino herself, entered the room of another guest at the casino and stole more than $7,000 from that individual, Nevel said.
