Four Teens Injured, Two Seriously, In Single-Vehicle Crash At High School In Area Four teens were injured during a single-vehicle crash in the area. The crash took place around 9:45 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, in Orange County, said Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police. According to Nevel, a state trooper from the Greenville barracks responded to Port Jervis High School in the town of Deerpark for a report of a one-vehicle car crash. An investigation revealed that four teenagers were in 2006 Honda CRV and traveling on Hamilton Street when the operator of the vehicle lost control of the vehicle and struck a storage container, Nevel said. Man, Woman Charged For Double Homicide At Home In Area An Orange County man and woman have been arrested for the double murder of two men. Chasity Cutway, 37, and David Host, 32, both of Walden, were arrested on Thursday, Jan. 14, by New York State Police, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Both were charged with first-degree murder and burglary connected to the deaths of Glenn Travis and Derek Travis at their Sullivan County home on Murphy Road in Swan Lake, Nevel said. State Police Investigating Homicide In Area New York State Police are investigating a homicide in the area. The homicide took place early Thursday morning, Jan. 14, in Sullivan County in the town of Bethel, said Trooper Steven Nevel.  "This investigation is ongoing and the state police will update as this investigation continues," Nevel said. Two Charged For Shooting Death Of 12-Year-Old Area Girl The alleged killers of a 12-year-old girl in the area have been arrested by New York State Police. Ulster County residents Gilbert Thomas, 24, and Robert James, 46 were arrested on Thursday, Dec. 24, for the shooting of D'Janeira Mason, in Kingston on Thursday, Dec. 17, said Trooper Steven Nevel. During the incident, her 10-year-old brother was also shot in the arm. The children were shot while inside their home at 60 Van Buren St. around 8 p.m. when shots were fired into the house, police said. State police said both men were involved in the shooting.
