New Update: ID Released For Suspect Nabbed After Easter Shooting At Home In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley man was charged after allegedly shooting his stepfather on Easter Sunday. The incident took place in Putnam County on Sunday, April 9 in the town of Southeast on Ridgebury Road. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, state police responded to the home after receiving a report of a dispute between a stepfather and stepson. Responding units located the victim, a 55-year-old man, suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower leg. He was transported to Danbury Hospital in stable condition, Nevel said.
