Capital Region Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing 5-Year-Old Enters Plea A man from the region accused of sexually abusing a young child has formally answered to the charges against him. Albany County resident John Ferrara, age 54, of Fuera Bush, pleaded not guilty to a felony count of predatory sexual assault of a child in Albany County Supreme Court Monday, Oct. 24. Prosecutors said between February 2016 and June 2018, Ferrara engaged in sexual conduct against a girl who was between the ages of 5 and 8 at the time. Massive Fire Burning At Apartment Complex In Capital District A massive apartment fire was burning in Green Island, near Albany, Thursday, May 12, CBS6 Albany reports. Flames broke out at the River’s Edge Apartments on Starbuck Island at around noon, the outlet reports. The fire spread to multiple buildings in the complex.
