$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley, Including $50K Winner In Westchester
Whoopie, a lucky Hudson Valley player took home $1 million after matching all five numbers in the Powerball game.
The second-prize winning ticket matched the winning numbers 7-11-19-53-68 but not the Powerball of 23, for the Monday, March 25 game, said the New York Lottery.
The ticket was sold at the Smokes 4 Less store on Plank Road in Newburgh, lottery officials said.
There was also one third-prize-winning ticket sold in Westchester County in Ardsley. The winner, who matched four numbers plus the Powerball, took home $50,000, lottery officials added.

According to the New York Lottery Office, 14 people across the state won third-prize cash. The two in the Hudson Valley were sold in
Dutchess County in Hyde Park at the Smokes 4 Less store on Albany Post Road.
Orange County in Middletown at the 302 Petroleum Inc. located at 2580 Route 302.
The prize-winning numbers were 22, 24, 40, 52, 64, and a Powerball of 10.

Lucky Duck: $1,000,000 Lottery Prize Claimed By Capital Region Woman
A woman from the region has claimed a winning lottery prize worth $1 million.
Saratoga County resident Patricia Van Buren, of Clifton Park, hit it big on the Powerball drawing held July 5, matching five numbers and clinching the second prize, New York Lottery announced.
Van Buren received a lump sum payment of $651,000 after required withholdings.
The lucky ticket was purchased in Clifton Park, at the Halfmoon Sunoco on Route 146.
New York’s Powerball game generated over $516.8 million in total sales during fiscal year 2022-2023, according to lottery officials.
