Teen Nabbed With Gun, Drugs After Shots Fired In Area, Police Said An Orange County teen was allegedly nabbed with a gun and drugs after officers responded to a Shot Spotter activation. Quasim K. Blamoville, 17, of Newburgh, was arrested a little after midnight on Friday, April 12, after City of Newburgh police responded to the area of North Miller and South streets for a Shot Spotter activation, said Det. Man Charged After Firing Shots Across Route 6 Near Neighboring Homes A 38-year-old man is facing two felony charges after state police say he fired shots across a busy area roadway near neighboring homes. Troopers were dispatched to Bloomer Road in the town of Southeast on Saturday, Sept. 1 after receiving a complaint of shots fired.  An investigation found Gueorgui A. Stoytchev of Southeast discharged a legally owned Winchester 30-30 across State Route 6 within 500 feet of the houses, state police from the Brewster barracks said.
