Wind Gusts Up To 50 MPH Knock Out Power In Hudson Valley
Hundreds in the Hudson Valley are now without power as high winds whip through the area.
A Wind Advisory is in effect until 4 p.m. Monday, March 29.

As of around 10 a.m. on Monday, Con Edison was still reporting nine active outages that were impacting customers in Bedford, Cortlandt, Greenburgh, Mount Vernon, New Castle, Scarsdale, and Yonkers.
Farther north, Central Hudson is working to restore power to 1,778 of its customers as crews work to respond to 65 outages.

There was one new novel coronavirus (COVID-19) fatality in Putnam, as the county saw a small increase in cases.
The Putnam County Department of Health is reporting that as of Wednesday, May 20, there were 15 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 1,347 positive, and one new death, marking the 58th county resident to die from the virus.
There are currently 11 COVID-19 patients at Putnam Hospital, and the county is monitoring 35 active cases. 1,311 COVID-19 patients are no longer isolated or quarantined, according to the Department of Health.

Twenty-five new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) were confirmed in Putnam County overnight, as the total topped 1,100 since the pandemic began in early March.
There have now been 1,115 confirmed COVID-19 cases, as of Friday, May 1, according to the Department of Health, with 57 active cases, seven less than the day before.
