7-Year-Old Struck in Hudson Valley Crosswalk, Driver Cited for Failure to Yield: Police
A 7-year-old child suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street with his mother in a Kingston crosswalk. The incident occurred around 8:50 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8, on the Boulevard near Stewarts, said Lt. Patrick Buono of the Kingston Police. According to Buono, a 2011 Chevy Silverado, driven by Nicholas Visbeck, age 33, of Kingston, struck the child crossing the street with his mother in the crosswalk. Gary White, of Kingston, was hit by a 2012 GMC Terrain driven by a 20-year-old KIngston resident while crossing Broadway from the corner of Orchard Street around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, said Lt. A 3-year-old girl from Westchester was killed after being struck by an SUV while crossing the street in New York City. The incident happened just after 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11 in Manhattan at West 135th Street and Lenox Avenue, outside of Harlem Hospital.
