5 Times Convicted Felon Flees Cops On Electric Scooter In Poughkeepsie Drug Bust: Police A five-time convicted felon under state parole supervision was apprehended in Dutchess County after trying to flee on an electric bicycle while being pursued by detectives investigating drug sales, authorities announced.  The incident began in the City of Poughkeepsie on Wednesday, Feb. 26, around 7:30 p.m., when detectives found Andre Hendrix, 55, in the area of Marshall Street. He was the subject of a search warrant related to an ongoing narcotics investigation in the Pershing Avenue area, the department said. High-Speed Pursuit In Hudson Valley Leaves Officer Injured, Suspect in Custody: Police A high-speed vehicle pursuit in Orange County ended with the arrest of Alejandro Garcia and minor injuries to a police officer.  The incident began on Thursday, Jan. 9, around 11:35 a.m. on Carpenter Avenue in the Town of Wallkill, when Middletown Police Officers Jason Berman and Nicholas Langford attempted a vehicle stop as part of a narcotics investigation.
