Covid-19: DeCicco & Sons' Eight Area Stores Schedules Some Sunday Closures To Give Staff Rest
A popular grocery store chain is going to begin closing its eight stores in Westchester and Putnam counties on Sundays amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in order to give their staff time off to rest and spend time with their families.
All DeCicco & Sons stores, including locally in Brewster, Ardsley, Armonk, Harrison, Larchmont, Millwood, Pelham, and Somers, will begin the Sunday closures on Sunday, April 19 and again on Sunday, April 26, when they will reconsider the practice.

Three-Alarm Fire With Explosions Breaks Out At Northern Westchester Condo Complex

Firefighters from multiple municipalities battled a three-alarm blaze at a luxury condominium complex in Northern Westchester.
The fire broke out in a single unit at the Half Moon Bay complex in Croton, just before 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, and there were explosions reported, according to authorities at the scene.
The fire, which was confined to the one unit, was brought under control by 10 a.m.

DeCicco & Sons, a Westchester staple, is spreading its footprint in the county with a new location featuring new options that is opening in Somers.
The newest DeCicco & Sons location is scheduled to open its doors to the public for the first time at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 3 at 266 Route 202, featuring grand opening specials throughout the store.
