Man Holds Woman Captive, Fires Gun Inside Capital Region Home, Police Say A domestic violence call in the region ended with a 37-year-old man in handcuffs accused of holding a woman against her will and threatening her with a loaded gun. The incident happened shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, in Albany, at a home on Clinton Avenue near Henry Johnson Boulevard, according to Albany Police. After arriving at the home to investigate reports of a domestic disturbance, officers learned that a woman inside had been held against her will by 37-year-old Mallah Dickson, police said.
