ID Released For 25-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed In Route 55 Crash
A 25-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash Route 55 early Thursday morning. Kevin A. Sheehan of Poughkeepsie was killed when his 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle, being operated at a high rate of speed struck, a 2017 GMC Acadia around 6:30 a.m. Thursday, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks. Both vehicles were eastbound on Route 55 near Noxon Road when the crash occurred. Sheehan was ejected from the motorcycle, state police said.
