Man Found Near Curb With Gunshot Wound In Newburgh The City of Newburgh Police responding to a "shot spotter" activation found a man near a curb with a gunshot wound to the chest. The incident took place around 4:25 a.m. Friday in the area of Johnston and Campbell streets, said City of Newburgh Police Det. Lt. Joseph Burns.
