Local Man Charged In Hudson Valley Cemetery Boat Dumping Incident A man has been charged after a boat was allegedly illegally dumped near a cemetery in the Hudson Valley. The 19-foot boat was dumped in Putnam County on Friday, Sept. 2 in the area of the Union Valley Cemetery in Carmel. According to Lt. Michael Bodo of the Carmel Police, responding officers found a Sunbird Corsair dumped on cemetery property. After inspecting the vessel, officers found that all identifiable markings had been intentionally removed from the boat, Bodo said. Man Accused Of Dumping Construction Debris On Northern Westchester Roadway A Putnam County man has been issued a summons for allegedly dumping construction debris in the roadway in Northern Westchester County. Charles Valt, 48, of Garrison, was issued the summons for dumping on Wednesday, Nov. 18, after Yorktown Police received a report of the debris in the roadway on Baldwin Road, on Tuesday, Nov. 17. An investigation found the debris had been dumped on the side of the roadway and police were able to identify Valt as the person responsible,  Yorktown Police said. Man Nabbed For Illegally Dumping Trash, Debris Near I-84 A Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy had to get his hands dirty to track down a suspect who illegally dumped trash and construction debris on county property near I-84. On Monday, July 29, Deputy Randel Hill was on patrol on Barrett Road in Southeast when he came upon a “large quantity” of trash that had been illegally dumped. Hill photographed the scene and proceeded to dig through several bags to find any evidence that would lead them to the owner. Putnam County Police Capt.
