Police have apprehended a teenage suspect in connection with the shooting death of a 29-year-old man in the Hudson Valley.
In Rockland County, the Town of Haverstraw Police Department announced t on Saturday afternoon, July 27, the arrest of Yandi Martinez, age 18, for the homicide that took place on Monday, July 1.

Two Hudson Valley men and a teenager have been charged in an alleged gang attack in which another man was stabbed.
Rockland County residents Said Diaz, age 19; David Ramirez, age 18, and a 17-year-old juvenile, all of Haverstraw, were charged on Wednesday, Feb. 7 for the Saturday, Feb. 3 attack in the area of 17 West Broad St., in Haverstraw.
According to Capt. John Gould of the Haverstraw Police, the victim was allegedly assaulted by the three sustaining physical injuries.

Man Charged With Shooting Of 2 Men At Hudson Valley Restaurant
A Hudson Valley man has been charged with attempted murder in the shooting of two men inside an area restaurant.
The incident took place in Rockland County on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, in Haverstraw at the P&D Seafood restaurant at 9 Main St.
Haverstraw police responded to the area of 9 Main St., on a report of shots fired in the area, said Capt. John Gould Jr., of the Haverstraw Police.
During an investigation, it was determined that two men were shot inside the restaurant, Gould said.
